What happens once I add new members to my group?
After creating your group, use the “+” icon in the upper right side to add new members to the group.
Members added by email
If the "Notify new members by email that they've been added to this group" box is checked, they receive an email (like the one below) letting them know they were added to the group.
Once added to the group, members will begin to receive email notifications about all activity in the group, including new cards you create and send out and any comments from other members of the group.
By clicking on the card, the members will be taken to the group right away and can respond to the action items.
By entering a new comment or signing up, Unison will ask them to enter their name and establish a password, then allow them to continue.
Members added by phone
Although there is no welcome email available for members added by phone, they will enjoy all of the other perks of being a group member.
Once added to the group, members will begin to receive text notifications about all activity in the group, including new cards you create and send out and any comments from other members of the group. Comments will look like regular text messages, and cards will come in as a link which they can click to be brought to the card in their browser.
If a member with a text account tries to reply via text to a message, they will receive a reply text asking their name. Once they respond, Unison will use that response as their name and post the comment.
Clicking the link will bring the member to the card, allowing them to view and respond to the action items and post comments, as well. Again, if the member tries to reply from this browser and does not have a name, Unison will prompt them to enter their name and establish a password.
It’s as easy as that! The new members will then be able to continue to respond to the group via emails, or have the option of logging in to the group directly via Unison.io with their email address or phone number and password they had created.
