How can I prevent members from commenting publicly to an announcement?

If you want to communicate with a group, but don't want members to have the noise of replies, you can turn off replies for your announcements. Doing so will allow you as the administrator to view and receive replies, but not have those posted publicly. 

  1. Start by composing your announcement. 
  2. Then click Preview in the lower right corner. 
  3. From the preview, click on Settings for this email
  4. Uncheck the option Allow recipients to reply-all

Now, when this particular announcement is sent, members will not be able to reply all or post public comments. All replies will only be delivered to the sender.
